Fabric Care and Use
Spandex
Hand wash in warm water with mild soap.
Drip dry (the best way to dry spandex).
Acetate
Most Acetates need to be dry cleaned. However, some acetate knits are washable.
Hand wash using mild suds in warm water.
Do not soak.
Do not wring fabric/garment
Circular knits should be dried flat
If necessary, iron on wrong side with a cool iron, while fabric/garment is still damp.
Light weight satin acetate: Do not clean!
Heavy weight satin acetate: Dry clean only
Florescent satin acetate: Do not clean!
Microfibers
Machine wash cold water
Tumble dry at low temperature
Or dry clean
Nylon
Machine wash with warm water, add fabric softener at final rinse.
Tumble dry at low temperature, reduce static electricity by adding a dryer sheet.
If necessary, press with a warm iron.
15 Jersey
Machine wash on delicate cycle with warm water
Tumble dry at low heat
Polyester
Machine wash with warm water, add fabric softener at final rinse
Tumble dry at low temperature
Iron at warm setting
Or dry clean
Sequins
Do not cry clean.
Perfume, hair spray, deoderant can damage sequins on contact.
Do not store in a plastic bag or any airtight container.
Do not iron sequin fabrics.
Holographic Spandex
Hand wash in cold water.
Drip dry.
Do not iron.
Spectra
Hand wash in cold water with mild soap.
Hang to dry.
